West Bromwich Albion have come from behind to hold Tottenham Hotspur to a 1-1 draw in the Premier League clash at The Hawthorns.
Spurs came into the match on the longest active unbeaten run in the top flight, dating back 13 matches since the opening day defeat to Manchester United, but they were put under pressure from the first whistle and Albion should have taken an early lead when Salomon Rondon could only fire wide after bursting past Jan Vertonghen to get onto James Morrison's through ball.

Against the run of play, however, it was the visitors who took the lead in route one fashion, as Toby Alderweireld's 60-yard long ball evaded everyone and Dele Alli let the ball drop over his shoulder and volleyed past Boaz Myhill to mark his return from suspension.
Mauricio Pochettino's side were in control, but just after Alli's cross was whipped off the toes of Harry Kane at the back post, Albion found a leveller out of nothing minutes before the whistle.
A fine move from the home side saw Darren Fletcher played in down the right, and the former Manchester United man whipped in a inch-perfect cross for James McClean to head home his first Albion goal.

Kane had his first real chance of the game five minutes after half time when he got in behind the Albion defence to meet Alli's ball over the top, but Myhill kept out his low effort and Craig Dawson scrambled away the loose ball.
The second half was a much quieter, disjointed affair than the first, and though Kane shot straight at Myhill from the edge of the box, both sides struggled to create meaningful chances as the match wore on.
Albion were denied a winner with 17 minutes remaining only by a fine reaction save from Hugo Lloris when the goalkeeper somehow managed to tip Jonas Olsson's close-range header over the crossbar, and he just about held onto Rondon's effort as the home side mounted one final push for three points.
There was one final big chance for the hosts as the clock ticked to 90 when McClean flashed a low ball across goal which evaded everyone, but both sides ultimately had to settle for a single point.
