Brendan Rodgers says that he isn't interested in a move to Tottenham Hotspur after signing a new contract at Swansea City.

Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers has been forced to deny speculation linking him with a potential managerial switch to Tottenham Hotspur.

The 39-year-old, who signed a new three-and-a-half-year deal with the Swans yesterday, has already been touted as the replacement of Harry Redknapp's, who is favourite to land England's vacant coaching role.

"Why would I want to move? I'm already at a top club," said Rodgers. "Swansea might not be in the Champions League or challenging for trophies, but I'm at a club that is run fantastically well.

"Anyway, you shouldn't always believe the bookies' odds. I think I was 50-1 to get the Swansea job. I do find it incredible. You sign a new contract and on the very same day you are already being linked with a move away.

"I am very, very happy here and so are my family. All I'm concentrating on at the moment is Swansea City."

Meanwhile, Redknapp has claimed that he has not even considered the prospect of becoming the new Three Lions boss.
