Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has praised Harry Kane and Dele Alli for their performances during his side's 3-0 victory over Norwich City this afternoon.
Kane gave the hosts a two-goal lead going into the break at White Hart Lane, the second of which was set up by Alli, who departed to a standing ovation in the 79th minute.
Kane's brace saw him break Teddy Sheringham's club record for league goals in a calendar year as he reached 27 in 2015, and Pochettino admitted that he was "very pleased" for the striker.
"It's fantastic the way Harry works, his character and personality," Pochettino told reporters.
"He deserves all the praise and I am very pleased for him but I am very pleased for all the team because we work hard every day and then when we show it on the pitch it's fantastic for them.
"[Alli] has shown his talent, character and personality on the pitch very quickly. He has been with us only six months but it seems like he has been here 10 years, the way he plays."
Spurs now sit three points clear of Manchester United in the race for fourth place.
