Mauricio Pochettino "angry" with Tottenham Hotspur after draw

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino admits to being "angry and disappointed" with his side's draw at Leicester City.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has hit out at his team for throwing away victory against Leicester City this afternoon.

Summer signing Dele Alli gave the North Londoners the lead in the 80th minute, but Riyad Mahrez rescued a draw for the Foxes by equalising one minute later.

Pochettino told BBC Sport: "It was 50/50, a very difficult game for both teams. Second half we played much better. I am disappointed with the draw. Last game against Stoke we lost a 2-0 lead and we did it again. We deserved more again but it is a shame.

"I am angry and disappointed, not frustrated. The mistake we made today is difficult to explain."

Spurs have two points from three games so far this season, and face Everton next Saturday.
