Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho has expressed his delight at scoring the winning goal in Sunday's Premier League victory at Cardiff City.

The Brazilian opened his account for Spurs in the 93rd minute as they came away from the Welsh capital with a narrow 1-0 triumph.

"I'm delighted because we played so well and it was important to get the three points," Paulinho told the club's official website. "It's my first goal in the Premier League and I want to say thanks to everyone. I'm so happy."

The result has seen Tottenham move up to second place in the Premier League table.
