Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Clinton N'Jie has had surgery to repair a knee ligament problem.
The 22-year-old suffered the problem earlier this month in Spurs' 4-1 win over Monaco in the Europa League.
Spurs have not said how long N'Jie will be out for. A club statement read: "Our medical staff will monitor Clinton's progress during his rehabilitation to determine when he will be ready to return to training."
N'Jie joined the North London side from Lyon on a five-year deal this summer, but is yet to make a Premier League start.
