UEFA issue fines to Lazio and Tottenham Hotspur for offences that were committed during recent Europa League matches.

UEFA have issued fines to both Lazio and Tottenham Hotspur for a variety of incidents that occurred during this season's Europa League.

Italian side Lazio have been hit with a punishment of £120,300 for the racist behaviour of their supporters during matches against Spurs and Maribor.

The fine has also been given for late arrival at matches and incidents of a non-sporting nature. The Sky Blues have also been warned that if a similar occurrence takes place within the next two years, they will be made to play one of their matches behind closed doors.

Maribor have also been given a fine worth in the region of £12,000 because their fans threw missiles onto the pitch during their encounter against Lazio.

Meanwhile, Premier League outfit Tottenham have been told to pay £8,000 for "crowd disturbances" against their Italian counterparts.
