Sporting Kansas City have been held to a 1-1 draw by Houston Dynamo at home in their Major League Soccer clash.
The home side were quicker off the blocks and started asking questions of the Houston defence right from the start.
Graham Zusi, Paulo Nagamura and CJ Sapong all made attempts on the visitors' goal in the first 20 minutes but without any result.
Sporting continued to dominate proceedings for the remainder of the first half, with Tally Hall saving Sapong's close-range header and Kei Kamara failing to find the target with his head.
The second half started with the hosts picking up from where they left off at the break, as Sapong and Kamara once again tested Hall.
However, it was Houston who broke the deadlock at the Livestrong Sporting Park in the 58th minute when released by Oscar Boniek Garcia, Brad Davis scored with a left-footed shot from outside the Sporting penalty box.
That only spurred on the home side even more, as Sporting launched waves of attack on the Houston goal.
Kamara, Nagamura, Sapong and Chance Myers all tried their luck in the ensuing minutes, but in vain.
However, in the third minute of injury time Sporting eventually equalised and mustered a point when Sapong found the target.
