A report says that Southampton are planning to reject any offer that they receive for French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

Southampton are reportedly prepared to turn down any summer offer that they receive for Morgan Schneiderlin.

The French midfielder is believed to have impressed a number of clubs with his performances in the Premier League this season. Some reports had even claimed that Arsenal were ready to part with £10m to secure his services.

However, the Saints are under no financial pressure to sell the 23-year-old, according to the Daily Echo.

The report went on to claim that Schneiderlin is happy at Southampton, having only recently extended his contract until the summer of 2017.
