Nathaniel Clyne has reportedly sealed a switch to Premier League side Southampton.
The full-back had been the subject of interest from a number of clubs in the top flight and Championship when it was revealed that he would not be signing a new contract with Crystal Palace.
While Manchester United and West Ham United were thought to be the frontrunners for the 21-year-old, the Saints stole a march on their rivals by offering personal terms over the weekend.
Having considered the options available to him, Clyne has now decided to commit his future to Southampton by signing a four-year deal at the St Mary's Stadium, according to Sky Sports News.
Palace will be due compensation for the defender because he is currently under the age of 24.
