Southampton and Stoke City have played out a 1-1 draw at St Mary's Stadium in their final Premier League of the season.
The Saints made the brighter start of the two sides and could have taken the lead in the 10th minute had Rickie Lambert kept his shot on target.
Three minutes later Lambert once again tried his luck, this time with a header, but failed to keep it on target, before Stoke's Asmir Begovic snatched the ball just as Jay Rodriguez was about to meet Adam Lallana's cross.
Chances dried up thereafter, as the two sides headed into the half-time interval locked at 0-0.
Things picked momentum at the start of the second half, as Peter Crouch headed home Geoff Cameron's delivery to give Stoke the lead.

However, 10 minutes later in the 57th minute Southampton pulled level. Lallana and Lambert found Luke Shaw on the edge of the Potters penalty area and although his initial effort was parried away by Begovic, Lambert tapped home the rebound.
Michael Owen came on as a substitute in the 73rd minute for Stoke for his last appearance before retiring from the game, but failed to inspire Tony Pulis's side to a final day win.
