Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones says that he expects a "manic" summer at the club.

Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones has admitted that he expects a "manic" summer at the club as he readies his side for the new season.

Jones has also revealed that he will allow a number of players to leave as he attempts to free up funds and space in the current squad.

He told the Sheffield Star: "My priority is to get the players ready for the start of the season and make sure we get the right players out. In the next few weeks it's going to be manic because now it really starts.

"I will be looking at getting people out, as otherwise we'll be overloaded in certain areas and it enables me to bring in those players I am targeting."

Wednesday finished 18th in the Championship last season.
