Aleix Vidal scored twice as Sevilla beat Fiorentina 3-0 in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final on Thursday.
Vidal netted once in either half in Seville, before Kevin Gameiro added a third in the 75th minute.
Holders Sevilla will travel to Florence for the second leg next Thursday.

Goal
Sergio Rico: Has become the club's first-choice goalkeeper in recent months and the Spaniard had another wonderful game here. Made a host of super saves to keep his clean sheet intact. (7/10)
Defence
Aleix Vidal: Surprisingly started the game at right-back in Seville, but scored twice, before setting up the third. Had a near-perfect game as he caused Fiorentina absolute nightmares. (9/10)
Daniel Carrico: Kept Mario Gomez extremely quiet during a strong performance at the heart of the defence. Was also calm and composed when in possession of the ball. (7/10)
Timothee Kolodziejczak: Has seen plenty of football in the Europa League this season and the Frenchman put in another solid performance alongside Carrico. (7/10)
Benoit Tremoulinas: Has been strongly linked with Manchester United in recent weeks, but did not let the speculation harm his performance. A constant threat down the left for the hosts. (8/10)
Midfield
Grzegorz Krychowiak: Suffered a facial injury against Real Madrid, but played in Seville with protection. Controlled the midfield battle during what was another classy performance. (7/10)
Stephane Mbia: Eventually left the field in the 73rd minute after picking up a head injury, but the midfielder got through plenty of excellent work during the semi-final in Seville. (7/10)
Ever Banega: Did not look entirely comfortable dropping deeper in the first period, but was heavily involved in the second half. Used the ball extremely well in forward positions. (7/10)
Attack
Jose Antonio Reyes: Has been extremely reliable in Europe this season and that was again the case. Not always obviously involved, but went about his work with such intelligence and class. (7/10)
Carlos Bacca: Preferred to Gameiro in the final third, but the Colombian did not have much luck in front of goal. That said, did set up Vidal for his team's opening goal. (6/10)
Vitolo: The Spaniard's form has dropped in recent weeks, but he was back to his best here. Set up Sevilla's second of the match and was always a threat in the final third. (8/10)
Substitutes
Coke: Will have been disappointed not to have started, but showed a good attitude in the final 30 minutes. Linked extremely well with Vidal in a forward area. (7/10)
Vicente Iborra: Replaced Mbia for the final 15 minutes and slotted effortlessly into the middle of the park. Was prepared to put himself about in the latter stages. (7/10)
Kevin Gameiro: Entered in the 74th minute and scored with his first touch. Has such a knack of finding the back of the net off the bench. Just about the perfect introduction. (8/10)

FIORENTINA
Goal
Neto: Could not do much with the first or third goal in Seville, but will have been disappointed with Sevilla's second. Made it so easy for Vidal to slide his effort home at the near post. (5/10)
Defence
Nenad Tomovic: Delivered one outstanding cross in the first period to set up a chance for Mohamed Salah, but was replaced by Micah Richards at the half-time interval. (6/10)
Stefan Savic: Made a couple of crucial challenges, but was extremely fortunate not to concede a penalty for a poor challenge on Krychowiak late in the first period. (6/10)
Gonzalo Rodriguez: Had a strong first 45 minutes as Fiorentina enjoyed long spells on the front foot, but struggled in the second and was a shade fortunate to escape a late red card. (6/10)
Marcus Alonso: Did his best to break forward when the opportunity arise, but the Spaniard's delivery was not always the best. Struggled to contain Vidal in a wide area. (6/10)
Midfield
Matias Fernandez: Had two excellent chances in the first period, but could not find the back of the net. Was Fiorentina's biggest threat, but ultimately poor finishing cost his team. (6/10)
Milan Badelj: Did his best to break up play in the middle of the park, but Sevilla won the midfield battle for most of the night. Was taken off with a head injury in the 68th minute. (6/10)
Borja Valero: Will have been keen to impress on his return to Spain, but it never quite happened for the midfielder. Some nice passes, but not too much to shout about. (6/10)
Attack
Joaquin: Had a very good first period as he caused problems in a wide area, but the Spaniard offered no protection to his full-back and Vidal was allowed to capitalise. (6/10)
Mario Gomez: Had a really good chance to open the scoring early on, but fired over the crossbar. Struggled to make his mark as the match developed and was replaced late on. (5/10)
Mohamed Salah: Showed moments of promise when he was in possession of the ball, but missed a good opportunity in the first period and could not make his mark in the second. (6/10)
Substitutes
Micah Richards: Replaced Tomovic at the interval, but found it difficult to contain Sevilla in the second period. Ultimately part of a defence that conceded three times. (6/10)
David Pizarro: Replaced the injured Badelj in the 68th minute and slotted into central midfield with minimum fuss. Did not do much wrong during his time on the field. (6/10)
Josip Ilicic: Given the final 10 minutes, but found it difficult to make his mark during a period where Sevilla were in control. Will be hoping for a start in the second leg. (6/10)
