Kenny Miller insists that Scotland are improving, even if results are not going their way.

Scotland striker Kenny Miller has insisted that Scotland are improving, despite their much-criticised 0-0 draw at home to Serbia on Saturday afternoon.

Miller said that despite not starting their World Cup qualifying campaign with a win, the signs are there that the squad is playing much better.

"We can keep saying it all we want, but we know we have to start turning this progression we keep talking about into results," Scotsman.com quotes Miller as saying.

"We are totally, 100% behind the manager. We believe in what he has done. I know we keep saying it, but we do believe we are making progress.

"Even on Saturday, as players we can see that. I've watched the game back and I feel that we are getting better. But what we also understand is that we need to show it."

Scotland play Macedonia tonight in their second qualifying match.
