The agent of Schalke 04 centre-back Kyriakos Papadopoulos says that the Greek international does not want to leave the Veltins-Arena this summer.

Greek centre-back Kyriakos Papadopoulos has "no interest" in leaving Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04, according to his agent.

The 21-year-old has recently been linked with Liverpool, but Paul Koutsoliakos said that his client is happy in Germany.

"I can tell you we have no interest in a transfer away from Schalke at this point in time," Koutsoliakos told Bild. "Kyriakos is happy being at this club.

"Kyriakos is fully focused on being fit when Schalke start pre-season training in the next few months. He looks likely to be ready for it."

Papadopoulos moved to the Veltins-Arena from Olympiacos in 2010.
