Sochaux have registered their first Ligue 1 win of the season with a 1-0 away defeat of St Etienne on Saturday.
The hosts were down to 10 men for most of the match after Jonathan Brison was dismissed for a tough challenge on Abdoul Camara in the 10th minute.
The first chance of the game fell to Cedric Bakambu, who headed Camara's cross over the crossbar from 12 yards.
Simon Pouplin was forced to make two saves in the final 15 minutes of the first half, first keeping out Jean-Pascal Mignot's deflected effort and then an attempt from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Sochaux continued to create chances in the second half and found the winner in the 75th minute thanks to Thierry Doubai's spectacular overhead kick from 12 yards out.
