Real Madrid are reportedly close to striking a deal that will see them sign Kiko Casilla next summer.
The goalkeeper was heavily linked with a switch to the Bernabeu throughout pre-season, but he eventually signed a contract extension with Espanyol.
However, with Iker Casillas expected to depart Los Blancos at the end of the season, Carlo Ancelotti is said to be keen to add another keeper to his squad to provide competition for Keylor Navas.
That has resulted in Madrid having reignited their interest in 28-year-old Casilla, with an agreement close to being reached, according to Marca.
Casilla joined Madrid as a youngster, but he left in 2007 without having played a senior match.
