La Liga giants Real Madrid have reportedly targeted Inter Milan centre-back Alessandro Bastoni.
The 22-year-old, who arrived at the San Siro in 2017, has a contract that runs until 2024, but Los Blancos are said to be monitoring him and considering an imminent approach.
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Carlo Ancelotti's side are interested in bringing the Italian defender to the Santiago Bernabeu but could be put off by Inter's €60m valuation.
Such links follow Real Madrid's reported interest in Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, who can discuss terms of a pre-contract agreement in January if he is yet to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge.
Since his arrival in Milan, Bastoni has made 81 appearances for the Nerazzurri and featured in 33 of their 38 league games last season as they secured the Serie A title.
