Real Madrid's Jose Mourinho is named the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) Coach of the Year 2012.

Jose Mourinho has been named the best coach of 2012 by International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

The Portuguese won La Liga with Real Madrid last season and also led the Spanish giants to the semi-finals of the Champions League.

The 49-year-old then guided Los Blancos to Spanish Super Cup triumph last summer.

Roberto Di Matteo was voted second for winning the Champions League with Chelsea, while Pep Guardiola came third for guiding Barcelona to Copa del Rey success in 2011-12.

This is the fourth time that Mourinho has won the IFFHS award; he was awarded the prize in 2004, 2005 and 2010.
