Nigel Adkins: 'The signs are promising'

Nigel Adkins says that the signs are promising for Reading after today's draw at Bolton Wanderers.

Reading manager Nigel Adkins believes that his team could be in for a "promising" season.

The Royals, who have picked up four points from their first two Championship matches of the season, are just outside the playoffs at this early stage.

After last week's 2-1 win over Ipswich Town, Reading came from behind to draw at Bolton Wanderers this afternoon.

Speaking to reporters, Adkins said: "The signs are very promising for the future this season."

Reading face Watford at home next Saturday.
