Harry Redknapp: 'Adel Taarabt wants to leave Queens Park Rangers'

Harry Redknapp confirms that Adel Taarabt wants to leave Queens Park Rangers this summer following last season's loan stint at AC Milan.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Adel Taarabt wants to leave Loftus Road this summer.

AC Milan are rumoured to have offered £3m to QPR for the midfielder after he spent six months on loan at the Serie A club last season.

"He wants to move," Redknapp told reporters in this morning's press conference. "We just need a club to come in and pay the money that the chairman is looking for.

"Adel hasn't done one day's training since we got back in pre-season. He just needs to get fit, whether he's here or not."

Taarabt has one year remaining on his contract with the recently-promoted Premier League side.
