Leonardo claims that Paris Saint-Germain have yet to make a decision on Carlo Ancelotti's resignation offer.

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has insisted that the club have made no decision on coach Carlo Ancelotti's request to let him leave.

The Italian tactician revealed on Sunday that he has tendered his resignation to the French club's board.

"Carlo has asked to go to Madrid, but we want him to stay," Ligue 1.com quotes him as saying.

"No decision has been taken. We've listened to Carlo. We have to look at things a bit. The priority is for him to stay. We've never contacted other coaches."

Ancelotti, who was appointed the PSG coach in December 2011, led PSG to the Ligue 1 title this season.
