Carlo Ancelotti says that he is happy with Paris Saint-Germain's performance in their 1-0 home win against Lyon in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has said that he is pleased with his side's victory over Lyon on Sunday.

Blaise Matuidi's first-half goal at Parc des Princes saw the French giants win their Ligue 1 clash 1-0 and climb to the top of the table.

"Football is strange," Ancelotti told reporters. "In difficult moments, you have to show your solidity. The players did very well; things have changed.

"At the moment, we have a good balance because the attackers do some good work at the back.

"The first half was difficult because Lyon changed their system, but defensively the second half was perfect."

PSG, Lyon and Marseille all are on 35 points at the moment, with Ancelotti's side ahead on goal difference.
