Paris Saint-Germain welcome back Thiago Silva

Thiago Silva is fit to return for Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Laurent Blanc has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain can call upon captain Thiago Silva for their Champions League match on Tuesday night.

The Brazilian defender has been missing since September after picking up a thigh injury, but is ready to return at the Parc des Princes against Anderlecht.

"Edinson Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are uncertain, but Thiago Silva is available," Blanc told reporters.

"Zlatan's is not a serious injury but it could be. This is why we are very cautious.

"Edi [Cavani] had a little pain in his thigh at the end of the match against Lorient [on Friday], but we will not take any risks."

The Group C encounter gets underway at 7.45pm.
