Marquinhos: 'Paris Saint-Germain fear nobody in Champions League'

Marquinhos says that Paris Saint-Germain are not scared about facing anyone in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Marquinhos has insisted that Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to face anybody in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

The Ligue 1 champions were beaten 2-1 at Benfica on Tuesday night, but had already qualified from Group C as winners and secured their progression prior to the clash at Estadio da Luz.

"It was a very tough game, as expected," Marquinhos told the club's official website. "Benfica are a very good team at home.

"We played very well in the first half, but it wasn't enough.

"The last 16? We are not hoping to avoid anyone in the draw. At this stage of the competition, there are only big teams left. If we want to go all the way, we will have to beat everyone."

PSG travel to Rennes in the league on Saturday in their next match.
