Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew picks Hatem Ben Arfa, Yohan Cabaye and Fabricio Coloccini in a strong starting XI to face Rangers at Ibrox.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has named a strong starting XI for tonight's showpiece friendly against Rangers at Ibrox.

Hatem Ben Arfa, Yohan Cabaye and Papiss Cisse all feature from the outset in Glasgow, while goalkeeper Tim Krul and captain Fabricio Coloccini also return to start.

Mathieu Debuchy, Davide Santon and Steven Taylor partner Coloccini in defence, while Chieck Tiote, Moussa Sissoko and Jonas Gutierrez also make Pardew's starting lineup.

Rangers boss Ally McCoist uses the fixture to give 10 new players a chance to impress, including Arnold Peralta, Bilel Mohsni and Jon Daly.
