Alan Pardew delighted with Moussa Sissoko, Jack Colback return

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew admits that he is pleased to have Moussa Sissoko and Jack Colback back from suspension for his side's clash with Chelsea.

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has revealed that he is delighted to have midfield duo Moussa Sissoko and Jack Colback available for his side's Premier League clash against Chelsea.

Sissoko was sent off against West Ham United in the Magpies' 1-0 defeat to the Hammers so he missed his side's match against Burnley, while Colback was also ruled out after picking up his fifth booking of the season at Upton Park.

The Newcastle manager has admitted that it is a massive relief to have the players available again for a vital game against the Blues at St James' Park.

Pardew told the club's official website: "Hopefully Moussa has learnt his lesson from West Ham. He's a big player for us. He's been outstanding, our best player and very, very effective against Chelsea in the past.

"I know Jose will have one eye on him to make sure he doesn't impact on the game. Jack has been just as important but in a quieter way.

"He may not get noticed by everybody but our players and coaching staff know he's done an absolutely brilliant job for us."

Newcastle are ninth in the Premier League ahead of their showdown against the Blues.
