Rolando Aarons: 'Playing for Newcastle United is still a dream'

Nineteen-year-old Rolando Aarons admits that it still feels like a "dream" to be playing for Newcastle United.

Rolando Aarons has admitted that it still feels like a "dream" to be part of Newcastle United's first team.

The 19-year-old has struggled with injuries of late, but he played the full 90 minutes of the Magpies' 4-1 win over Northampton Town in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.

While the teenage winger has expressed that he wants play more regularly, he insists that he is willing to be patient.

"It's still a dream for me to playing for Newcastle," Aarons told The Chronicle. "I haven't played that many games. I have only been around the first team for around a year and have not played as much as I would have liked due to injury."

Aarons is yet to start a Premier League game.
