Espanyol have released a statement confirming that an agreement has been reached with Napoli for the sale of David Lopez.
The 24-year-old is expected to complete a move to the Italian side later this afternoon.
"Early on Saturday morning, RCD Espanyol and SSC Napoli agreed terms for David Lopez's transfer," a statement from the La Liga outfit read.
"Due to this agreement, the Sant Cugat midfielder will fly to Italy today in order to undergo his medical and complete the transfer."
It is understood that Napoli have parted with £4m for the midfielder.
