Motherwell recorded a 4-1 victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Premier League game at the Fir Park Stadium this afternoon.
Tom Hateley put the home side in front after 11 minutes, then just one minute later, Michael Higdon made it 2-0 to Motherwell.
With 28 minutes gone, Inverness managed to pull a goal back through Richie Foran, but after the break, Higdon claimed a brace and then made it a hat-trick to help his side to all three points.
In the other SPL game today, Dundee managed to earn all three points after beating Hearts 1-0 at the Tynecastle Stadium.
The only goal of the game came in the third minute, when Marius Zaliukas brought down Colin Nish in the area to give the away side a penalty.
Ryan Conroy stepped up and placed the spot-kick in bottom right corner to give his side the lead.
Hearts were unable to reply and the game eventually finished 1-0.
