Clinton Morrison signs for Northern Premier League club Mickleover Sports

Former Republic of Ireland international Clinton Morrison agrees a deal with Northern Premier League side Mickleover Sports.

Mickleover Sports have announced that they have signed former Republic of Ireland international Clinton Morrison.

After beginning his career at Crystal Palace, Morrison spent 19 years competing in the top four divisions of English football before penning a deal with Redditch United earlier this summer.

However, it has now been revealed that he has agreed to represent Northern Premier League outfit Mickleover, who currently sit in eighth position in their division.

The 37-year-old spent the last campaign at Exeter City, where he scored once in 20 appearances.
