Half-Time Report: Stuart Lewis fires Wycombe Wanderers into half-time lead

Wycombe Wanderers have the lead at half-time against Mansfield Town courtesy of a Stuart Lewis long-range strike.

Stuart Lewis's long-range strike has given Wycombe Wanderers the half-time lead over Mansfield Town.

Lewis broke the deadlock after just nine minutes, with his 30-yard effort beating Alan Marriott to give the visitors the breakthrough.

Just minutes later Mansfield looked to have drawn level when Matt Rhead's volley from close range was heading towards goal, although Matt Ingram pulled off a fine save to retain his side's advantage.

Ingram was called into action once more on the half-hour mark, tipping over Ross Dyer's strike at full stretch.

A win for Gareth Ainsowrth's men will lift them above their League Two opponents.
