Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane has stressed that he is "happy" to play for the European champions, despite speculation regarding his future.
The France international has not always been an automatic starter under Carlo Ancelotti's management this season, which had resulted in reports that he could leave the Bernabeu, with Manchester United and Chelsea both said to be interested.
However, the 21-year-old has seemingly moved to play down the rumours by insisting that he is "at ease" in Madrid.
"I'm happy, the team is at 100% and my contract runs until 2020. I'm at ease, when I'm called on to play I want to do my best," he told reporters.
Varane featured in Madrid's 3-0 away win at Getafe earlier today.
