Team News: Gareth Bale keeps Real Madrid place

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti includes Gareth Bale in his starting lineup to face Getafe.

Despite criticism over his recent performances, Gareth Bale has retained his spot in the Real Madrid starting lineup for this morning's trip to local rivals Getafe.

The Wales international will form part of a three-pronged attack alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, while the likes of Isco and James Rodriguez feature in midfield.

Meanwhile, further back, reported Chelsea and Manchester United transfer target Raphael Varane will play alongside Sergio Ramos at the heart of the Madrid defence.

As for the home side, head coach Quique Flores has selected the same starting lineup that was defeated 2-1 by Elche last weekend.

Getafe: Codina; Valera, Naldo, Velazquez, Alexis, Lago; Juan Rodriguez, Sammir, Pedro Leon, Hinestroza; Vazquez

Madrid: Casillas; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Kroos, Rodriguez, Isco; Bale, Ronaldo, Benzema
