Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has seemingly ruled out the possibility of the club delving into the transfer market again this summer.
The Red Devils have spent well over £100m already in an attempt to improve upon their seventh-place finish from last season, including bringing in Angel di Maria for a British record transfer fee.
Van Gaal watched his side slump to a humiliating 4-0 defeat at the hands of MK Dons in the League Cup second round this evening, and after the match he revealed that he was not thinking about further additions to his squad.
When asked whether there would be any more new arrivals at Old Trafford this summer, the Dutchman told reporters: "No. This is same question your other colleagues have put. We know exactly what we are doing.
"We have lost in the Capital One Cup, and so tonight has cost us the chance of a trophy, and that is disappointing."
United have also signed Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera and Marcos Rojo in the current transfer window.
