Manchester United are reportedly confident of completing a deal for Saul Niguez this summer after the midfielder rejected a new contract offer at Atletico Madrid.
The 21-year-old was keenly pursued by the Red Devils in the January window and has been watched multiple times by United scouts over the last 12 months.
According to The Mirror, the Premier League side are now prepared to meet the £25m buyout clause on his contract to bring him to Old Trafford ahead of next season amid speculation that he wants to leave the La Liga giants for England.
Saul has four years remaining on his current deal at the Vicente Calderon.
