Report: Manchester United could sell Robin van Persie this summer

Robin van Persie could leave Manchester United this summer, according to reports.

Manchester United are reportedly considering letting striker Robin van Persie leave the club at the end of the season.

The Dutchman joined from Arsenal in 2012 and fired them to the Premier League title in his debut season, but he has had an injury-hit two years at Old Trafford and has hardly featured since January.

The 31-year-old's current deal expires in 2016, and The Guardian reports although that he is keen for a new one, manager Louis van Gaal is ready to cash in.

Van Persie has scored 10 goals in 28 appearances this season.
