Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to sell Danny Rose to Manchester United in January if the Red Devils come up with an offer in the region of £45m.
Rose, 27, criticised Tottenham's transfer policy before the start of the new season, and despite returning from injury in recent weeks, the left-back has been in and out of the squad.
Rose, who was born in Doncaster, is believed to be keen on a return up north, and according to the Daily Star, Spurs are currently assessing a number of left-back targets and have informed United that a bid of £45m would be accepted at the start of 2018.
Ashley Young has thrived in the left-back position for United this season, but it is understood that head coach Jose Mourinho wants a specialist player in that area of the field, and Rose's possible arrival would surely end Luke Shaw's Old Trafford career.
Rose, who has only made two Premier League appearances this season, is contracted to Tottenham until June 2021.
