Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has lavished praise on Anthony Martial amid suggestions that the Frenchman is a transfer target for a number of clubs this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur are one of the teams to be credited with an interest in the attacker, who could start Saturday's clash with Leeds United due to the absence of Edinson Cavani.
However, Solskjaer has effectively ruled out a summer exit for the former Monaco youngster, with the Norwegian saying that Man United "are happy" to be able to call upon the 25-year-old.
"I wouldn't be surprised if other teams targeted Anthony because he is a very good player," Solskjaer told reporters. "Back strong and hungry to prove his quality. You can see that grit between his teeth again, he is up for the challenge. We are happy that we have him."
Martial, who still has three years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford, has scored 78 times and registered 50 assists in 258 appearances for Man United in all competitions.
The attacker missed the end of last season with a knee problem but featured in his side's last pre-season friendly against Everton.
