Manchester United are reportedly preparing a substantial offer for Real Madrid's James Rodriguez, who is believed to be unsettled at the Bernabeu.
James joined Los Blancos from AS Monaco in the summer of 2014 off the back of starring for Colombia at the World Cup in Brazil.
The attacker hit 17 goals during his debut season in Spain, but a number of injury problems have restricted him to just seven league starts this season.
James was also left out of Zinedine Zidane's first league XI last weekend, with Isco preferred to the Colombian international in midfield.
According to Goal.com, Man United are keeping tabs on developments in Madrid and are prepared to offer just shy of £60m this month.
Any deal is expected to prove complicated, however, due to the two-window transfer ban placed on Real Madrid on Thursday.
