Report: Manchester United, Chelsea eyeing German teenager

Both Manchester United and Chelsea are keen on signing Bayer Leverkusen winger Julian Brandt, according to a report.

Manchester United are interested in signing Julian Brandt from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, according to a report.

The Sunday People claims that Red Devils manager David Moyes sent scouts to watch the 17-year-old action in action for his German club during their 2-1 home defeat to Schalke in the Bundesliga on February 15.

It has also been reported that Chelsea are keen on signing the teenager as well, having been impressed with the winger's potential.

Brandt's current contract with Bayer runs until June 2019.
