Real Madrid are reportedly now unlikely to attempt to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.
Los Blancos have long been credited with an interest in the France international and had seemingly been weighing up a big-money move at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has talked up an exit on a number of occasions, but the 2018 World Cup winner could allegedly now sign a new contract at Old Trafford.
According to the Daily Mail, Madrid no longer view the Frenchman as a priority signing due to the progress of Martin Odegaard and Federico Valverde.
The report also adds that the capital giants are likely to sign Donny van de Beek from Ajax this summer, meaning that a move for Pogba is unlikely due to the cost of the deal.
Meanwhile, it has been alleged that Zinedine Zidane's side would only consider sanctioning a big-money summer move for Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe, Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane or Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez.
Pogba is yet to turn out for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in 2020 due to an ankle issue.
