Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly keen to rejoin Juventus as he wants to step out of Jose Mourinho's tactical shadow and thrive alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 25-year-old has endured a hit-and-miss couple of seasons at Old Trafford since returning from Juve for a then-record fee of £89m.
Pogba enjoyed a positive World Cup campaign with champions France, but he will soon return to club side Man United, where he cut a frustrated figure for large parts of last season.
According to Spanish outlet Marca, Pogba wants to continue the progress he made in Russia away from Old Trafford because he does not believe that Mourinho is the right man to get the best out of him.
Furthermore, the recent arrival of Ronaldo at the Allianz Stadium is said to have further encouraged the Frenchman to jump ship, with agent Mino Raiola informing the Red Devils of his client's desire to leave.
United academy product Pogba is due to return to pre-season training in August after being given a few weeks' rest.
