Crystal Palace co-chairman Martin Long has admitted that the club will "probably" ask Manchester United to loan back Wilfried Zaha next season.
The 20-year-old played a huge part in securing Premier League promotion for the Eagles by winning a penalty, resulting in a 1-0 win over Watford in the playoff final at Wembley yesterday.
Zaha signed for United in the January transfer window, but was immediately loaned back to Palace for the remainder of the campaign.
While the forward is expected to join up with the Red Devils for pre-season, Long has suggested that there could be a chance of Zaha returning for a season-long loan.
"Who knows?" Long told Sky Sports News. "They might want him to get experience in the Premier League playing with us rather than, maybe not playing for them. I don't know, we probably will ask."
Palace manager Ian Holloway said yesterday that new United boss David Moyes would be "silly" to let Zaha return to Selhurst Park.
