Newcastle United lead Wilfried Zaha race?

Newcastle United are reportedly ready to pay £7m to secure the services of Manchester United's Wilfried Zaha, who is also a loan target of Nottingham Forest.

Newcastle United are leading the race to sign Wilfried Zaha from Manchester United, according to reports.

Zaha joined the Red Devils last summer in a transfer worth up to £15m, after agreeing terms in January 2013, but the winger has struggled to nail down a place in the team and spent the latter part of last season on loan at Cardiff City.

The Mirror reports that Alan Pardew is keen to make Zaha his 10th summer signing and is prepared to pay up to £7m to secure his services.

Nottingham Forest are also thought to be keen on bringing Zaha to the City Ground on loan.
