Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has insisted that David de Gea is not worried by Victor Valdes's recent arrival at the club.
Former Barcelona goalkeeper Valdes is currently training with the Red Devils in order to build up his fitness.
Speculation has suggested that the 32-year-old is seen as a replacement for De Gea at Old Trafford, but Mata has revealed that United's first-choice shot-stopper does not fear for his place.
"I have spoken with Valdes. He's training with the team and we're looking forward to seeing what his plans are soon," he told Cope. "De Gea is not nervous."
United are back in Premier League action on November 22 when they face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
