Manchester United have reportedly joined a host of clubs who are monitoring the progress of 17-year-old Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
The French youngster, who made his debut for Rennes at the age of 16, has impressed with his performances this season and featured in every Ligue 1 game of the 2019-20 campaign so far.
A number of top clubs, including Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Arsenal, were credited with showing an interest in Camavinga over the summer.
According to L'Equipe, United, along with La Liga giants Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, are keeping a close eye on the midfielder ahead of the January transfer window.
It is thought that Rennes will ask potential suitors for a bid of around £26m given the youngster's importance to the first team since August.
United are in need of midfield reinforcements amid uncertainty surrounding Paul Pogba's future along with the recent departures of Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera.
