Manchester United are reportedly in pole position to sign Tottenham Hotspur centre-forward Harry Kane during this summer's transfer window.
The England captain is keen to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the current market, and both Man United and Manchester City are believed to be interested in a deal.
A recent report claimed that Spurs were prepared to deny the 27-year-old the chance to leave the North London club ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
However, according to Football Insider, recent developments have seen Man United move into a strong position to bring the striker to Old Trafford this summer.
The report claims that Tottenham want a £100m fee plus two first-team players in part-exchange, with Anthony Martial previously mentioned as a potential makeweight.
Kane enjoyed an excellent 2020-21 season for Spurs, scoring 33 times and registering 17 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions.
The striker has also been in strong form for England at Euro 2020, scoring four times in six appearances, including the winner against Denmark in the semi-finals on Wednesday night.
