Manchester United favourites to sign Leicester City midfielder James Maddison

Manchester United have emerged as favourites to sign Leicester City midfielder James Maddison with bookmakers.

Having contributed five goals and three assists from 15 Premier League appearances this season, Maddison is again attracting interest from a number of high-profile clubs.

Leicester are allegedly looking to respond to such speculation by offering the playmaker a new long-term contract at the King Power Stadium.

However, bookmakers Sky Bet still feel that the 23-year-old could make the switch to Old Trafford at the beginning of 2020.

Maddison has been priced at 11/2 to complete a transfer to the North-West giants ahead of Chelsea, who are valued at 9/1.

The England international still has three-and-a-half years remaining on his existing deal at Leicester.
