Manchester United have reportedly drawn up a three-man list of potential replacements for Paul Pogba, with James Maddison, Jack Grealish and Donny van de Beek the names listed.
Pogba has regularly been linked with a move away from United this season, while he has only managed seven Premier League appearances because of injury.
According to the Daily Mail, Maddison, Grealish and Van de Beek will all be targeted in the summer if the France international leaves, while United also want to complete a move for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes this month.
The report adds that United would be open to negotiating with any of their targets this month, but understand that completing a deal in January would be unlikely.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has faced issues with his midfield all season following injuries to Pogba and Scott McTominay, while Nemanja Matic has also been linked with a move to Serie A.
United currently sit fifth in the Premier League table, five points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea.
